Streamings for a congress of cardiologists
November 2014Brno May 4,2014. We performed seven on-line streamings of cardiological surgeries for guests of XXII. Annual Congress of Czech Society of Cardiology which took place in Brno on May 4th–7th.
Transmitted surgeries were performed at specialist workplaces in Prague, Brno and České Budějovice. Transmitted data were taken directly from medical devices, innovation was a real-time anonymisation which removed all patient-specific data from the image. GPU accelerated forward error correction was another novelty—we started to use it for demanding transmissions this spring.
